Title: Financial Analyst

 

Duties:

Be responsible for review, analysis, and improvements in financial / money
management in the importing and distribution. The specific duties are: (1)
Conduct cost/sale analysis to assist management operating more efficiently; (2)
Research and study on US tariff policy and its application to various countries
with focus on China and other Southeastern Asia trading partner countries; (3)
Research and analyze mid-to-long term commodity goods market price trend and
related currency exchange factors to provide financial forecasting reports for
purchasing budget planning; (4) Perform capital budgeting analysis to calculate
cash flow, rate of return, depreciation, logistics/warehousing loses, and other
issues; (5) Collect data and analyze customers’ business condition / credit history,
and assist accounting/sales departments in setting up policy on pricing, credit
terms and business risk issues; (6) Collect data on competitors and analyze
statistical data regarding price, sales, yield and methods of distribution, etc.; (7)
Select financial/income statements, balance sheets, and record data on
spreadsheets for management use; and (8) Perform expense-coding and apply the
expenses to the correct categories.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a closely
related field.

Working Conditions:

 Full time; work location in St. Louis, MO
